A Focus on Local Energy:
We mainly work with local communities and businesses implementing renewable energy and energy conservation, and with regional and national stakeholders to support their alliance with local energy use.
Our team assists local governments to develop sustainable renewable energy strategies for climate benefits and a cleaner environment.
We work with the public and private sectors on renewable energy project development, including stakeholder outreach, community information, and regulatory processes (FERC, MMS, CZM, NEPA and state permits).

About Us
Mary Jane Parks has over 20 years of experience in public utility and private energy companies in California, Australia and Canada. Ms. Parks has managed renewable energy projects and business development, working with Finavera Renewables, Inc. and AquaEnergy Group, Ltd. She was responsible for ocean projects and utility contracts, including successful negotiation of a power purchase agreement with PG&E for a utility-scale ocean wave energy facility. Her work included project management and achieving FERC licensing for the company’s Makah Bay, WA wave energy project. Previously, Mary Jane was the American Business Manager for an Australian information technology company. In 1994, in Azusa, CA she initiated the first solar-powered, electric-car recharging station on a new construction facility. Her mentors today include numerous leaders in the US energy market.

In Private Sector -
Our team assists renewable energy supply chain providers in project management, stakeholder liaison, community outreach and other collaborative efforts that are part of a successful renewable energy project. We work collaboratively for companies seeking permits for clean energy projects, including local and state permits, NEPA, MMS, CZM, FERC, and USCG regulations.
For Government -
Our team develops renewable energy plans, assists staff in project management goals, inspects energy efficiency projects, and writes grants.
For Non-Profits/Associations -
Our team works with industry groups, communities and organizations or renewable energy and energy efficiency program implementation among their members. We have experienced associates in government relations, facilitation, community meetings, and teaming.
